Coronary Angiography
Diagnostic Procedure

Coronary Angiography

Coronary Angiography is the gold-standard test used to find out if your coronary arteries are blocked or narrowed. Dr. Siddarth primarily utilizes the painless Transradial (wrist) approach to inject a special dye into your blood vessels, allowing real-time X-ray imaging of your heart's blood supply.

Why is it done?

  • To investigate unexplained chest pain (Angina).
  • To locate exact blockages during a heart attack.
  • To plan for Angioplasty or Bypass Surgery.
Angioplasty and Stenting
Therapeutic Intervention

Angioplasty & Stenting (PTCA)

Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) is a minimally invasive procedure used to open clogged heart arteries. A tiny balloon is inflated to widen the artery, and a drug-eluting stent (a tiny wire mesh tube) is placed to keep the artery open permanently, restoring vital blood flow.

Key Benefits

  • Immediate relief from angina (chest pain).
  • Life-saving intervention during an acute heart attack.
  • Faster recovery compared to open-heart bypass surgery.
Pacemaker Implantation
Device Implantation

Permanent Pacemaker & AICD

For patients with severe rhythm disorders, a pacemaker or an Automated Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (AICD) is surgically placed under the skin near the collarbone. These smart devices constantly monitor the heart rate and send electrical impulses to correct slow or life-threatening rhythms.

When is a device needed?

  • Bradycardia (dangerously slow heart rate causing fainting).
  • Heart block (electrical signals are delayed or blocked).
  • Prevention of sudden cardiac arrest (via AICD).
Non Invasive Diagnostics
Preventive & Diagnostic

Non-Invasive Diagnostics

Before any invasive procedure, we rely on highly accurate, non-invasive imaging and monitoring to assess heart function. This includes 2D/3D Echocardiography, Treadmill Tests (TMT), and 24-48 Hour Holter Monitoring.

Diagnostic Capabilities

  • Echocardiogram: Ultrasound to check valve function and pumping strength.
  • TMT: Stress test to evaluate heart performance under physical exertion.
  • Holter: Continuous ECG tracking to catch intermittent arrhythmias.

What to Expect

The Treatment Journey

We ensure complete transparency and comfort from your first consultation through to your full recovery.

1

Pre-Procedure Consult

Detailed discussion of the diagnosis, explanation of the required procedure, answering all your queries, and performing pre-operative safety blood tests.

2

The Intervention

Performed in a state-of-the-art Cath Lab. Using local anesthesia and the transradial (wrist) approach, ensuring you are awake, comfortable, and pain-free.

3

Recovery & Rehab

Post-procedure monitoring in the cardiac ICU. Most patients walk the same day. Includes discharge planning, medication counseling, and diet charting.
